Hitting Instructor
Chris Fafalios
Coach Chris is an energetic 29-year old from King City. He played NCAA D3 baseball in Ohio at The College of Wooster on a scholarship from 2012-2016. Upon his return, he has coached baseball and travel teams while also being the Chief Umpire of the Aurora King Baseball Association and playing competitively on the Bolton Brewers of the North Dufferin Baseball League. Chris takes great pride and joy in coaching the youth of baseball throughout Ontario. He has coached several teams over the past seven years since graduating. He is a passionate coach who wants to win and take his players as far as they can go. Throughout the years, Chris has run clinics/sessions on hitting (mechanics, approach, and mindset) and defensive strategies over the course of many practices during the winter, spring and summer. Chris has also been an umpire since 2004 and was appointed Umpire-In-Chief for the Aurora King Baseball Association in 2017 which he continues to run. Chris is integrally involved in every step and aspect of the process of baseball. Whether it is selecting players for teams, training, coaching, playing, managing schedules, and attending team home and away games, he is fully involved with everything baseball.

Kaz Nieri-Horiuchi
Coach Kaz brings more than 16 years of baseball playing and coaching experience (OBA, OUA, WBSC, and CPBL). Coach Kaz currently coaches the Toronto Mets 18U and an instructor on the Junior Mets Development Program. He has privately coached all levels of players from 7U all the way to the collegiate levels and specializing in Hitting, Fielding/Throwing, Infield/Outfield, and the position of Catcher.
